Being quite the voyeur myself I though I'd share the 360º view from where I spend most of my life. My studio. I share it with the excellent LE GUNNERS Billy Bragg & Steph von Voodoo

FABRIC

I brought the last of the Fabric that Luke and I made at Christmas with me to Sweden. The light was so amazing when we were there, big open skies with warm sunsets. We decided to have a little nature photo session, afterwards I got my mums (actually my grandma's, they don't make them like they used to) sewing machine out and turned the fabric into cushion covers.

SPRING TRIP

MEET PENN-KALLE

I went to Sweden last weekend and we had the most perfect spring weather, apart from chilling in the sun, going for walks in the woods and spend time with friends and their babies I also managed to work my way through a bunch of charity shops. Thrifting is always way more exotic in any other country than the one you happen to live in so I acquired a couple of new things, amongst them 'Penn-Kalle' who has now moved in on my desk. I'd say (judging by the typography on label underneath that says something like: 'I'm Penn-Kalle and I'm here to keep track of your pens. Good eh?' ) that it's a 1950's kids pencil holder. I'm totally digging his optimistic face and massive ears

ALL SORTS

For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to Liquorice Allsorts, the shapes and colours are just so satisfying and I have always associated them with fun times and Saturdays. So the other day I decided that they should finally enter my work, these are early sketches, but who knows, they might just end up as prints...

SUNNY DAYS

London showed it's best side this weekend, it was the first time for a long time that I took time to enjoy the city, just cycling and walking around. Checking out little galleries and treating myself to some new music. On sunday afternoon the studio skylight was a nice combo of pink and grime.

We spent the weekend photographing tons of Heretic prints from our archives for our nearly finished new website. Yes thats right, Heretic is finally joining the rest of the world with a soon to be revealed spanking new website!
